Reyes Group partnered with Aldridge Electric for the management of the subcontractors for the construction of site civil and electrical infrastructure as part of the new TDC 214 site expansion. The physical site expansion will be from the existing substation boundary onto what remains ComEd property. The expansion is required for permanent 138kV service to a Microsoft data center campus approximately 1 mile northeast of the project location. The project scope includes a precast concrete Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) building, site grading, fire protection system including a fire pump house, electrical duct packages, building and site lighting, sanitary sewer, water supply, and site auxiliary utilities (mechanical-electrical-plumbing).
