Commonwealth Edison North Supply Yard Renovation

A General Contractor to ComEd for the redevelopment of a site in the City of Chicago. Large square foot yard. Removal of contaminated soils/ Install new storm water management system/ Grading site/ Paving.

The restoration of the ComEd North Supply yard includes a new underground sewer system, a Storm Trap detention system, new electric utilities, and concrete paving. The new yard totals approximately 289,000 square feet with fencing, a new racking storage system, and includes a transformer containment structure and new yard trailer.

This project lead to another contract for the same site development called the ComEd Chicago North Storm Trap and Monopole Foundation. Reyes Group removed environmentally contaminated soils, installing a new storm water management system, water detention as required by the city of Chicago, installing new storm water trunk lines, and (2) monopole foundations.

These developments began early to pave the way for ComEd’s new Chicago North Redevelopment Office and Warehouse located at 3500 N. California.
